➡️ How ErgoAssetOS Works for Government Agencies
From equipment request to field deployment
Officer Submits Equipment Request
Logs into the web portal or kiosk. Browses available equipment by category. Selects required items, specifies deployment period and purpose, submits request with reference number.
Supervisor Approves
Reviews request in Admin Control Panel — officer identity, equipment, deployment period, purpose. Approves or rejects. Full approval record maintained in audit log.
Officer Authenticates & Collects
RFID staff card tap, security PIN, or QR Code at the locker kiosk. Assigned door opens automatically. Equipment collected and issuance logged in real time with full details.

Return & Compliance Report
Equipment returned to locker, logged automatically. Complete chain-of-custody record available for audit. One-click CSV export for government audit submissions and accountability reporting.
🔒 On-Premises Deployment — Data Sovereignty Guaranteed

❓ Frequently Asked Questions — Government
Does ErgoAssetOS store data in the cloud?
No. ErgoAssetOS operates entirely on a local network using MQTT protocol. All data is stored on-premises within your agency’s own network infrastructure. There is no cloud dependency and no external data transmission, meeting government data sovereignty and classified information handling requirements.
Can the system work in secure facilities without internet access?
Yes. ErgoAssetOS functions fully without internet connectivity. The system operates on a local network, making it suitable for secure government facilities, classified environments, and locations with restricted external network access.
How does the system support government audit requirements?
ErgoAssetOS maintains a complete transaction audit log with every equipment issuance recorded — officer ID, asset code, issue time, return time, supervisor approval, and status. All logs are exportable to CSV for government audit submissions, internal reviews, and public accountability reporting.
Can access be restricted by security clearance level?
Yes. The access matrix in the Admin Control Panel allows administrators to configure per-officer access permissions by role, department, and clearance level. Officers can only access equipment categories they are authorised for, and all access attempts are logged.
What happens if an officer’s RFID card is lost or compromised?
The administrator can immediately revoke the officer’s RFID card access from the Admin Control Panel. Access is revoked instantly — no physical card replacement required before security is restored. The officer can continue to access the system using their security PIN while a replacement card is issued.
