• Before surgery: The nurse scans their badge, the locker opens the correct drawer, and they retrieve the complete sterile tray. The system logs exactly who took it and when. No tray goes to the OR incomplete.
• During surgery: The software tracks which instruments are in use and by whom. If a count discrepancy is detected, staff are alerted immediately.
• After surgery: The tray is returned to the locker. The system scans and counts every instrument back in. If anything is missing, you know instantly - not hours later when the next team needs it.
